JAMES RICHARDS - Researcher
Jay researches and writes about changes in social, organisational and political models, including open source design and communication. He also leads our work to explore how new kinds of media will change how we make decisions, how we consume and how we interact. He supports Mark on our work in the developing world, with a particular focus on rapid changes to the built environment and decision-making processes in Asia and Africa.
Jay Richards has contributed to a rich variety of publications including The Times, MIS Magazine, Icon magazine and Fortnight. He has interviewed CIOs and rock stars and written on topics as diverse as cathartic poetry and hi-tech nightclubs in Frankfurt.
In 2004 Jay graduated from Oxford with a degree in Philosophy Politics and Economics. He is now studying part-time for an MA in Professional Writing at London Metropolitan University.
